JENNIFER OSBORNE – Daycare Manager

Jen first started working with dogs in 2014, gaining experience for 4 years in a grooming salon as a high-quality groomer, working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She has the knowledge and skills of many different grooming styles, for a range of breeds.

Jen went on to become an animal attendant for 5 years at her local pound/rescue, where she came to learn and understand dog body language and behaviour, which triggered her interest in dog training and behaviour modification. Over the years, she has worked with dogs of all ages and temperaments, from excitable puppies, right through to the elder four-legged folk. In particular, Jen has improved the lives of aggressive or "dangerous" dogs, by desensitising them to their triggers or fears and helping them to become responsible canine citizens. Jen quickly became a respected senior employee, overseeing volunteers and Community service personnel.

Throughout Jen’s career, she has soaked up knowledge passed on by many qualified trainers, including Sean and Lynette, learning different tips and techniques for improving dog/handler relationships, showing dogs how to succeed, and improving dog behaviour, one treat at a time. She loves helping to grow a fun and safe environment that cultivates learning through play, and

Jen has commenced her Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training with the National Dog Trainer’s Federation, and will complete the course in 2023. In her spare time she hangs with her fluffball Dusty, and Dusty’s bestest (and smallest) friend, Dohnut.
