Lynette has been casually assisting Sean with training work and classes for the past few years, but officially joined the DOG Ed team in 2020, as a dog trainer for weekend group classes held at DOG Ed’s day care facility. Prior to joining our team, Lynette gained her experience working for a large multi-location Sydney boarding and training facility as a junior trainer, before being promoted to training supervisor and resort 2IC after the first 12 months. In this role, Lynette was responsible for the day to day management and training of all in-house boarding and training dogs, on-site private lessons, in-home consultations across greater Sydney, and regular weekend group training classes at the resort. Lynette was also responsible for assisting kennel staff with more difficult boarding dogs, including supervising, feeding, administering medications, bathing and socialisation of those dogs.
In addition, Lynette has also assisted in the breeding programs of Rottweilers and German Shepherds, from care and supervision during pregnancy, through to assisting with the whelping, feeding, growth, development and socialisation of puppies, until they were transported to their new homes.
