MIKAYLA WHITE – Daycare Manager and Trainer

Mikayla became one of the DogEd crew in 2020, first as a part-time Daycare Attendant supporting Sean during the growth of the business, then progressing to Daycare Manager, Trainer and Groomer Assistant.

Prior to joining the team, Mikayla obtained her Certificate 2 in Animal Studies and Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing. She worked for a number of years at a specialist veterinary hospital as an animal attendant during her veterinary nursing studies, and for about 18 months in animal rescue, being responsible for cleaning kennels, feeding and administering medications, administration and adoption work, and exercising shelter dogs. Needless to say, she’s incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to animal care!

Mikayla currently co-manages our Daycare, accomplishing everything from socialising dogs, cleaning, administration, in-house training, dog washing/drying and keeping up with all things social media. She has also commenced her Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training through the National Dog Trainer’s Federation she will complete in 2023, and has already put her training skills to the test, assisting both Sean and Lynette with group classes for the DogEd Academy. Mikayla also helps our head groomer Jen with the grooms of dogs all shapes and sizes.

For the last 3 years, Mikayla has also coached under 16 girls soccer (and also plays herself), and in her spare time she spends time with friends and hangs with her beautiful doggo Brooklyn.
